Journey through Laos
π±π¦
We got a bus from Chiang Mai, Thailand in to Vientiane and spent a couple of days here. Then we took a train up to Vang Vieng, where we spent 3 days. We then got another train to Luang Prabang, where we spent another 3 days. Then we got a train and a bus all the way to Don Det. A short boat taxi is required to get to the island that we were on. We were here for a few days before moving to Siem Reap, Cambodia.

We arrived to Laos without a visa, and were able to get a visa on arrival. This didn't slow us down very much, but if you have arrangements on the other side, you may want to opt for the eVisa in advance.
